Moldovan president had phone conversation with premiers of Denmark, Belgium

Chisinau, March 5 / MOLDPRES /- President Maia Sandu had a telephone conversation on Friday with Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen and Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo, the presidential press service has reported.

Officials spoke about current developments in the region, the impact of the war in Ukraine on the lives of our citizens and how the European Union can help Moldova in the current situation.

During the talks, the head of state mentioned the efforts of the authorities in managing the significant number of refugees in Ukraine, but also the need for urgent support from European partners. The interlocutors agreed that there is a need for the immediate identification of viable common solutions, which will reduce the pressure on the economy of our country and society as a whole.
