National rate of vaccinatioin against COVID-19 reaches 31 per cent in Moldova

Chisinau, 9 March /MOLDPRES/ - The number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 has decreased by 23 per cent against the week before and the national immunization rate exceeds 31 per cent. The Health Ministry presented data to this effect today.

According to the quoted source, 21,830 people were immunized on the period 28 February – 6 March. Another 264,051 people went to vaccination centres to administer the booster dose.

Thus, the national coverage with one dose in the general population is over 31 per cent and with the full scheme – over 30 per cent.

Moldova has received 2,923,860 doses of anti-COVID-19 vaccine since the beginning of the pandemic.
