As many as 459 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,799 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 459 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Thus, 506,681 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

According to the Health Ministry (MS), 12 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (2 physicians, 6 medical assistants, 4 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 613 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 79 are in extremely serious condition and 6 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 4,327 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 7,732 are under supervision at home.

Another 539 people have been treated. As many as 486,651 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 15 death triggered by COVID-19 and 11,319 people have died of coronavirus in all.
