Humanitarian aid donated by private people from abroad collected at Hâncești 61 warehouse

Chisinau, March 17 / MOLDPRES /- The warehouse located in the territory of Moldova Film from Chisinau (Hâncești road 61) receives humanitarian aid sent by individuals from abroad, according to the simplified import procedure approved at the meeting of the Commission for Exceptional Situations on March 10. Humanitarian aid began to be stored three days ago in a 750-square-meter warehouse, the government's communications and protocol department has reported.

During a visit today, the Secretary General of the Government, Dumitru Udrea, and the Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Marcel Spatari, mentioned that all food and general use products, such as hygiene products, footwear, etc., go through control procedures. and sorting. "Last night, nine batches or 21.4 tons of products, donated by the diaspora to support refugees in Ukraine, arrived in this warehouse. These donations are sorted and will be distributed to local authorities and placement centers in the country, according to the list of needs ", mentioned Dumitru Udrea, head of the Single Center for Crisis Management.

In the last three days, at the roadside depot. Hâncești 61 received about 40 tons of humanitarian aid from the diaspora (Spain, Italy and Germany). Among them, today, from the warehouse were delivered the aid sent by the Spanish diaspora for the town halls of Drochia and Rascani. According to officials, the aid, which is not sent to certain town halls or dedicated associations, will be distributed primarily to the districts with the most refugees. Thus, trucks with humanitarian aid started today to Anenii Noi, Ștefan Vodă, Căușeni, Hâncești, Criuleni.

At the same time, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Marcel Spatari, specified that the aid coming from the diaspora is reported daily on the institution's website, where the up-to-date information on available stocks is placed. The Minister also mentioned the simplification of the procedure for customs clearance of aid from the diaspora and asked the citizens of the Republic of Moldova established abroad to contact the authorities before shipping the products. Placement centers can also apply online for the required products, which are processed and delivered quickly. Currently, there are 102 authorized placement centers in our country, with a capacity of 9,215 places, about half of which have already been filled.
