As many as 273 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,546 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 273 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 10 out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 510,973 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

According to the Health Ministry (MS), 14 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (1 doctor, 9 medical assistants and 4 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 427 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 54 are in extremely serious condition and 8 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 1,896 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 4,730 are under supervision at home.

Another 380 people have been treated. As many as 495,778 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
