Over 5,400 foreign citizens applied for asylum in Moldova

Chisinau, March 22 / MOLDPRES /- On 24 February- 22 March, the Migration and Asylum Office took over 5,403 asylum applications.
According to the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the same period on the territory of our country entered, on the Moldovan-Ukrainian segment of the border, 333 949 Ukrainian citizens. About 234,747 left the Republic of Moldova, and 9,057 Ukrainian citizens remained.
There are 101,035 foreign citizens, of which 49,033 minors in Moldova.
