Number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 decreased last week

Chisinau, March 23 / MOLDPRES /- On 14-20 March 12,590 people were vaccinated, less than 20% less than the previous week. At the same time, 280,827 people went to vaccination centers for booster doses.
According to the data of the Ministry of Health, the national coverage with a dose, in the general population, constitutes over 31%, and with a complete scheme - over 30%.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Republic of Moldova has received 2,923,860 doses of vaccine against COVID-19. Vaccination against COVID-19 is free and recommended by all national and international health institutions.
