Chisinau, 23 March /MOLDPRES/ - The regulation on the way of work and use of the governmental delivery service (MDelivery) was approved at a today’s cabinet meeting. The service will allow Moldova’s citizens to ask for the delivery to the residence place of acts and other documents issued by state institutions, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalization Iurie Turcanu said that this document regulated the legal relations between the subjects participants in the creation, exploitation and use of the Service and provided for general rules of delivery through the MDelivery Service, of connection to the information system, ensuring the information security and protection, as well as of the sides’ responsibility.

The governmental delivery service represents a digital solution, elaborated by the Electronic Governance Agency, which will be used as single mechanism of physical delivery of the results of the providing of public services to beneficiaries. Therefore, the MDelivery information platform will ensure the connection of the three subjects: provider of public service, as forwarder, the beneficiary of the public service, as recipient of the delivery and the provider of post services. This platform will diminish the costs for all those three sides involved and will optimize the process of delivery of the result of the public service to the beneficiary.

On 15 August 2021, the government approved the MDelivery Concept, as part of the complex process of modernization of the public services, implemented by the Electronic Governance Agency, with the support of the World Bank Group.
