Balti city councilors voted to increase own allowance

Chisinau, March 30 / MOLDPRES /- Bălți councilors increased their allowances from 52 to 3,100 lei for attending a meeting.
Bălți councilor Sergiu Burlacu announced on social networks that in the meeting held on Tuesday, March 29, with the vote of the majority of municipal councilors, the decision was taken to increase the allowances received for attending a Municipal Council meeting.
Thus, the allowance received for participating in each meeting will be 3,100 lei.
On June 19, 2020, the councilors of the Chisinau Municipal Council voted to increase the allowance received for attending the meeting from 2,000 to 3,300 lei.
