COVID-19 Chisinau Center to be liquidated

Chisinau, April 4 / MOLDPRES /- COVID-19 Chisinau Center located at the International Exhibition Center Moldexpo will be dissolved. The government approved a decision on the matter today.

According to the government's communication and protocol department, the decision was taken in the context in which the current epidemiological situation regarding COVID-19 in the Republic of Moldova is relatively stable, and in the last wave of the pandemic it was used only for sorting infected people, those who needed treatment being transferred to medical institutions.

The liquidation of the COVID-19 Chisinau Center will be handled by a responsible commission, which will be established by the Ministry of Health.
