Moldovan PM pays official visit to Berlin

Chisinau, 4 April /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita on 4-7 April is on an official visit to Berlin, on the occasion of the holding of the Moldova Support Platform Donor Conference. The event will be held on 5 April, in order to boost the international support of the European Union for Moldova, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.   

During the official visit, the PM will meet German Federal Minister of the Interior and Community Nancy Faeser and will participate in a roundtable organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, which backs numerous projects on expertise and development of democratic institutions and the civil society from Moldova.   

At the same time, Natalia Gavrilita will have a meeting with Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Svenja Schulze, the chairman of the Munich Conference Christoph Heusgen and will also have a discussion with the adviser on issues of foreign policy and security of the Federal Chancellor, Jens Plötner.   

The PM’s visit includes also a meeting with representatives of the Moldovan Diaspora, as well as the visiting of the country stand, Moldova, a Special Taste, at the International Exhibition, Fruit Logistica 2022.   

The prime minister will also participate in a meeting of the parliamentary commission for foreign policy and the parliamentary commission for human rights.

Moldova’s official delegation is made up of: Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita; Government’s Secretary General Dumitru Udrea; Deputy PM, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu; Deputy Prime Minister, Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister Andrei Spinu; Labour and Social Protection Minister Marcel Spatari; Interior Minister Ana Revenco; State Secretary at the Justice Ministry Veronica Mihailov.
