As many as 133 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 10 April /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,840 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 133 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Two out of all cases are import ones. Thus, 515,445 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), two out of all cases are medical employees: one physician and one auxiliary staff employee.

As many as 241 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 39 are in extremely serious condition and 7 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 1,131 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 1,594 are under supervision at home.

Another 208 people have been treated. As many as 501,654 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of one new death triggered by the new-type coronavirus and 11,462 people have died of COVID-19 in all.
