Chisinau employees to receive ten percent salary increase

Chisinau, April 11 / MOLDPRES /- Chisinau employees who participated in the General Spring Cleaning campaign will receive a 10 percent salary supplement.

Mayor Ion Ceban announced at today's online meeting of the municipal services that hundreds of employees of the local public administration and specialized municipal services participated on Saturday, April 9, in an action to clean up the city. "I consider that these employees of the Chisinau City Hall who offered their free time to participate in the sanitation action initiated by the municipality deserve a ten percent increase in salary," the quoted source said.

At the same time, the mayor thanked all those who participated in the sanitation activities of the city. "Similar actions will be organized by the municipality and I urge the inhabitants of the capital to tidy up the area where they live, but also to keep it clean," Ceban concluded.

According to the municipality, following the sanitation action on Saturday, April 9, several tons of garbage were evacuated from the green spaces of the capital.
