Pupils from vocational schools with agro-industrial profile awarded by agriculture ministry

Chisinau, April 27 / MOLDPRES /- The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) awarded a group of pupils from subordinate technical vocational education institutions. The event has become traditional and is held at the end of the academic year within a scientific-practical conference.

The event aims to promote and boost young people who are interested in research and analysis in the field. "Also, the organization of the conference provides for increasing the attractiveness and access to technical vocational education, including motivating the activity of teachers by increasing the quality of student training, as well as strengthening relations between technical vocational education institutions with agri-food profile," said MAIA.

During the conference, research works in education were presented: engineering activities; manufacturing and processing; business and administration, personal services; agriculture and veterinary medicine.

The works were appreciated by the evaluation commissions, established by specialists in the respective fields within the State Agrarian University of Moldova, the Technical University of Moldova, the branch directorates within the Ministry of Agriculture.

As a result of the evaluation, the winners were awarded, according to the fields and topics of research: engineering activities; manufacturing and processing; business and administration, personal services; agriculture and veterinary medicine.

The pupils ranking the I-III for each field were awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry. Respectively, the young people who ranked first were awarded cash prizes worth five thousand lei each.
