Vasile Advahov said that The Small Train was a song the audience grew fond of, with a very nice message. He noted the band had all chances to get on one of the first positions. In the context, Roman Iagupov said the small train was a symbol of freedom, a symbol with which the band might take Moldova’s music as far as possible. At the same time, Vitalie Advahov stressed that the artists had not been confused by the situation emerged in the world and they hope to get on train and set out to the Eurovision. On 29 April, Moldova’s representatives will leave for Italy.

Attending the event, the director general of the Teleradio-Moldova Company, Vladimir Turcanu, said he was happy that the National Television had made such a choice through its jury. ‘’Practically, we can say that they were matchless in this internal competition and the way they were met abroad, during their tours, proved us the fact that the choice was the best one,’’ Turcanu emphasized.

According to the organizers, the folklore of the Advahov Brothers and the rock’n roll of the Zdob şi Zdub band combine harmoniously in the new song, The Small Train, which would be the first work from an album due to be launched this year.

The 66th issue of the Eurovision International Song Contest will be held in Turin, Italy, on 10-14 May. Moldova’s representatives will perform in the first semifinal, along with another 17 countries, on 10 May. The great final of the song contest will take place on 14 May.
