Postmen to have increased salaries by 18% from May

Chisinau, May 12 / MOLDPRES /- Several employees of the State Enterprise Moldovan Post Office will have increased salaries starting this month, and the management of the institution claims that it will do everything possible to improve the salary situation for each worker in the structure.

"Last week I met with colleagues in the area. I visited Comrat, Taraclia, Ceadâr-Lunga Post Offices, where I personally announced that I will do my best to improve the salary situation for each worker ", acting head of the Moldovan Post Office Roman Cojuhari said.

From May 1, there will be higher salaries for postmen, postal operators and Moldovan Post specialists from all over the country. "This is just a first step in improving the conditions of the workers," he said.

The last time the salary of the postmen was increased was in 2018. “From May 1, 2022, the salaries will increase by 18%. Next, I will identify resources and solutions so that all employees of the Moldovan Post Office have a decent salary ", according to the quoted source.

Earlier, in an interview with MOLDPRES, Roman Cojuhari said “one of my priorities as a director is to modernize the postal network and develop infrastructure, the optimization and improvement of the services provided by the company, as well  as the implementation of innovations and high-performance technologies in the field, such as the implementation of the electronic payment system. The use of cashless payment instruments in the digital age will be a decisive step in improving payment systems, bringing a number of benefits to customers as well as business. ”
