IGSU to launch first aid training course

Chisinau, May 12 / MOLDPRES /- The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations / IGSU / will conduct a pilot training course in first aid for the civilian population on 19-20 May.

According to IGSU, the course is intended for the civilian population and aims to train for interventions in case of cardiovascular, traumatological, neurological and pediatric emergencies.

The main objectives of the training course include: recognizing and distinguishing situations that require first aid; qualitative and effective application of the principles of victim examination; proper assessment of the severity of the victim's condition; adequate provision of first aid techniques; knowledge of the paradigm of the use of special means, used in providing basic first aid; the correct application of the competencies held from the theoretical and practical perspective of the resuscitation principles.
