Book about life, work of well-known Moldovan singer launched in Chisinau

Chisinau, 12 May /MOLDPRES/ - A book titled, ”Privighetoarea din vis” (The Dream Nightingale), dedicated to the life and work of the light music singer, Anastasia Lazariuc, signed by writer Elena Raileanu, today was launched at the Musical Saloon at the National Library of Moldova (BNRM).
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Elena Raileanu said that the book had 216 pages and had been published in a number of 1,000 copies. ‘’It is about a biographical novel. I have worked on the book during eight years. I wanted to show how the destiny of a woman sent from God to sweeten our lives is unfolding. A woman who had the fate to sing with tears, but able to pass through her life as a flying bird,’’ Elena Raileanu said.
Attending the event, Anastasia Lazariuc said readers would discover the story of her life in this book. ‘’There are dramas, there are periods, there are stages in the life of each man. There were more dramas in my life. Unfortunately, not only one. I never wanted to appear before audience and speak about my dramas. These are the life lessons or the stages of the life, through which I had to go and face them just I was able to do this. Who wants to learn about something, can read them in the book,’’ Anastasia Lazariuc stressed.
Anastasia Lazariuc was born in the Bacioi village, central Ialoveni district, on 6 July 1953. She finished the Stefan Neaga Music School and the Gavriil Musicescu Arts Institute from Chisinau. During 1975-1978, Lazariuc was soloist of the Smericica band from Chernivtsi and in 1978-1992 – soloist of the Light Music Orchestra of the Moldovan Television and Radio. She cooperated with more famous composers from Moldova. Anastasia Lazariuc made more tours abroad. She was awarded the titles of Merited Artist, People’s Artist and Order of the Republic.
