Meteorologists announced yellow code of atmospheric instability

Chisinau, May 13 / MOLDPRES /- The State Hydrometeorological Service announced today yellow code of atmospheric instability.

According to meteorologists, lightning, heavy rains (15-25 liters per square meter) and storms of up to 15-20 meters per second and hail are expected during the period.

Today it will be up to +30 degrees Celsius during the day and up to +15 degrees at night.

In case of yellow code, the weather conditions are potentially dangerous, the forecast meteorological phenomena (rains, lightning, strong wind, high or low temperatures, risk of rising flows and levels in rivers and streams etc.) are common for the territory of the country, but they can temporarily become dangerous for certain socio-economic activities.
