Over 22,000 voters expected to take part in local elections due in Moldova on 29 May

Chisinau, 13 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today presented information about the number of voters from those 10 settlements where new local elections will be held on 29 May 2022.
According to CEC, the State Register of Voters shows that 22,037 citizens should go to vote on 29 May. Most voters are expected in Lozova village, central Straseni district – 5,481, and the smallest number of voters is registered on lists from the Horodiste village, northern Rezina district – 980.
On 29 May 2022, new local elections with be held in the following settlements: Ghetlova commune, central Orhei district; Horodiste commune, northern Rezina district; Zastanca village, northern Soroca district; Moara de Piatra village, northern Drochia district; Tataresti village, central Straseni district; Glinjeni village, western Falesti district; Zaicani village, north-western Rascani district and Hagimus village, south-eastern Causeni district; Lozova commune, Straseni district and Bobeica commune, central Hancesti district.
