Moldovan prosecutors open criminal file on case of plant from left bank of Dniester

Chisinau, 13 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Causes (PCCOCS), jointly with the Customs Service investigate a fact of alleged illegal actions of bringing metal waste to Moldova, meant for the metallurgical plant from Rabnita, in early last March.     

According to PCCOCS, the file was opened, given that a consignment of material assets, on which crude iron was indicated in the customs documents, was returned to Romania; yet, following verifications, decision-makers established that it was about crude iron waste, the import and processing of which needs the proper authorization of the institutions in charge of the environment.    

Law-enforcers investigate the actions through the light the committing of the deed by two or three persons, by using the office situation.
