Fair of popular craftsmen held at Chisinau-based museum

Chisinau, 14 May /MOLDPRES/ - A Fair of Popular Craftsmen is held at the National Ethnography and Natural History Museum on 14-15 May.

According to the organizers, the fair’s goal is to promote the national trades, popular craftsmen and the museum’s patrimony and is dedicated to the International Museum Day and the European Night of Museums , which is held with the title, The Force of Museums, this year. Participating in the fair are popular craftsmen from all fields: ceramists, woodcutters, weavers, tanners, masters who knit vegetal fibers, etc.    

Presently, the National Ethnography and Natural History Museum holds a heritage of 210,000 pieces.
