Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration has meeting with representatives of permanent delegations at OSCE

Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian today received on visit the deputy heads of the delegations of the United States, France, Germany and the United Kingdom to OSCE, on a fact-collecting visit to Moldova. The officials were accompanied by Head of the OSCE Mission in Moldova Claus Neukirch, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.       

During the discussions, Deputy PM Oleg Serebrian informed about the activities carried out in the formats of negotiations on the Transnistrian settlement, topical subjects on the agenda of the discussions, Chisinau’s approaches and the efforts made to solve the urgent problems, as well as about the promotion of a peaceful and lasting settlement of the Transnistrian file.   

Among the up-to-date subjects, the Moldovan official set forth the need of the observance of human rights in the Transnistrian region, including of the people who are illegally detained, ensuring the permanent access of farmers from the Dubasari district to the tillable lands from beyond the Camenca-Tiraspol highway, carrying out in good conditions of the education process in the Latin-script schools, etc.     

The sides also exchanged opinions on aspects of the regional security, in the context of the war in Ukraine and its impact on Moldova.
