Exhibition of five pairs of artists inaugurated at Chisinau-based museum

Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ - A temporary exhibition titled, Five pairs of artists, was inaugurated at the National Art Museum of Moldova (MNAM) today. The exhibition comprises 51 painting, graphic and ceramics works and was organized in partnership with the culture department of the Chisinau municipality.

In the beginning of the event, the MNAM director, Tudor Zbarnea, said that the present exhibition showed the works of painters who had worked in various cultural areas of the modern Russia and inter-war Bessarabia, in the Kingdom before the World War II and the period of creation of the Moldovan Soviet Socialist Republic (RSSM). These fine artists covered a not at all easy artistic way, in diverse and incompatible environments.

The exhibition will be opened till 10 July.
