Moldovan foreign affairs minister has meeting with new ambassador of Georgia

Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu has had a meeting with Ambassador of Georgia to Moldova Levan Diasamidze. The Moldovan official wished the ambassador success in his diplomatic work, recently started in Chisinau, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.

The interlocutors exchanged opinions on the Moldovan-Georgian bilateral agenda, confirming willingness to hold an active dialogue between the two countries, including between the foreign affairs ministries.

„I emphasized that the European aspirations consistently promoted by Chisinau and Tbilisi open additional opportunities for the efficient cooperation on diverse dimensions of mutual interest,’’ Minister Nicu Popescu said.
