Moldovan-Romanian parliamentary cooperation agreement signed in Chisinau

Chisinau, May 18 / MOLDPRES /- The public administration commissions of the Parliament of Moldova and Romania signed a cooperation agreement today.

The signing took place at a joint meeting of the members of the public administration commission of the Parliament of Moldova and the commission for public administration and territorial planning of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Legislature.

The document provides for cooperation in improving the regulatory framework for the organization and functioning of public administration, spatial planning and regional development. The agreement also establishes collaboration in order to establish fraternal relations between local authorities in the Republic of Moldova and Romania.

On 18 -19 May, the delegation of the commission for public administration and territorial planning of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament is on an official visit to our country. The visit's agenda includes meetings with Speaker Igor Grosu, representatives of the government and the local public administration.
