Moldovan, Belgian officials broach cooperation relations

Chisinau, May 18 / MOLDPRES /- President Maia Sandu met on the second day of her visit to Brussels with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium Alexander De Croo.

According to the presidential press service, the discussion focused on the relations between Moldova and Belgium, the security developments in the region and the European agenda of the country.

Maia Sandu thanked Alexander De Croo for the recent solidarity visit to Moldova and the help on the war in Ukraine. She also appreciated the intensification of the Moldovan-Belgian bilateral dialogue, which benefits the citizens of both countries.

"The Republic of Moldova wants to move forward on European integration, and for that it needs the support of EU member states. Our diplomatic efforts are aimed at cultivating and consolidating these relations ", Maia Sandu said.
