Moldovan foreign affairs ministry organizes second edition of Discover Moldova’s Finest project

Chisinau, 18 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) has organized the second edition of the project, Discover Moldova’s Finest, conceived as a platform for enhancing the visibility of Made in Moldova products on foreign sales markets, the MAEIE press service has reported.
In the opening of the event, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu noted that the visible enhancement of the interest in participation in this event on behalf of Moldovan producers was a gladdening thing.
The companies delegated by the competent associations had opportunity to present their products to an interest audience: ambassadors and honorary consuls who work in Chisinau, French senators, the head of the France-Moldova friendship group, Véronique Guillotin, and Michel Canevet, on a visit to Moldova, the head of the parliament’s commission for agriculture and food industry, Vladimir Bolea, representatives of the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry, as well as of the Kaufland networks of shops.
„We are a small country, but with a great heart and peace and understanding is put down on our visiting card. We already successfully export qualitative music; we should do the same with our products as well. We have potential – the capacity of our production of natural honey is of 6,000 tons annually, the one of nuts is of 20,000 tons annually and the Moldovan wines, with an yearly production of almost 15,000,000 decalitres, are already present in all corners of the world – everything is up to us, in order to make us better known and respected for the quality which our country’s agriculture can provide to external sales markets,’’ deputy PM Nicu Popescu said.
