Procedure for registering veterinary medicinal products simplified

Chisinau, May 19 / MOLDPRES /- Procedure for registering veterinary medicinal products has been simplified. A draft amendment to the law has been adopted by Parliament in the final reading today.

The author of the bill, MP Vladimir Bolea, said that the law on veterinary drugs was adopted in 2018 and in the implementation process several gaps were identified, all ultimately representing unfounded impediments and excessive restrictions at the stage of submission applications for the certificate of registration of the veterinary medicinal product.

The legislative amendments will make clearer the legal conditions for the operation of the economic activities of manufacturing, wholesale and retail distribution of veterinary medicines, as well as the obligations and powers of ANSA in the field.
