Moldovan Border Police launches blood donation campaign

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Border Police in Chisinau today launched a blood donation campaign titled, Tradition Continues. We are United. Donate Blood. Save Lives.
According to the institution’s press service, the event is organized in the context of marking the European Border Policeman Day.
The action took place at the headquarters of the General Inspectorate of Border Police, as well as in the settlements Chisinau, Cahul, Edinet, Ungheni, Stefan Voda, Soroca, Cantemir, Briceni and Hancesti.
This year, the border policemen were joined by FRONTEX officers, detached on mission to Moldova.
The blood donation campaign will be carried out during ten days.
