Payment of real estate tax to be made by 30 June

Chisinau, May 30 / MOLDPRES /- Taxpayers from Chisinau have been warned about the need to pay real estate tax for the fiscal period 2022. The local tax collection department has already sent the payment notices, through postal services, and the payment will be made by 30 June, the Capital City Hall has reported.

“The owners of the electronic and / or mobile signature can access the portal https://sfs.md/ro/servicii/persoane_fizice and select the option to view the tax, based on the real estate file and respectively can generate the payment notice independently, view the tax amount and print paper notice. Also, in the context of the amendments to the Fiscal Code, starting with 2021, the 15% reduction is no longer applied for the payment until June 30 of the full amount of the calculated real estate tax ”, Chisinau administration said.

The fulfillment of the fiscal obligation is done with the Notice of payment directly at the post offices, banking institutions or online through the governmental service of electronic payments www.mpay.gov.md by selecting the service "Payment of real estate tax (with notice of payment)".

The deadline for paying the real estate tax is June 30, 2022. The real estate tax exemption is granted to people of retirement age, and is set at 500 thousand lei from the estimated value for the purpose of real estate taxation - domicile.
