Moldovan parliament to hold plenary meeting on 2 June

Chisinau, 1 June /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament’s standing bureau, at a today’s meeting, approved the agenda for the plenary meetings due to be held on 2-9 June, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.   

On this period, the lawmakers are to consider, in the final reading, the draft law on the work, in safety conditions, of the potentially dangerous objects of production and technical installations, amendments to the law on philanthropy and sponsorship and legislative measures the goal of which is to prevent and combat the misinformation.   

Also, in the second reading, the MPs will present drafts for the amendment of the Fiscal Code and the law on accountancy and financial reporting and the draft on amendment of the law on bee-keeping and of the Contravention Code.  

In the first reading, the lawmakers will examine more drafts, among which the amendment of the law on social inclusion of people with disabilities or the ratification of the agreement between Moldova and the European Union on operative activities carried out by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency in Moldova.

The parliament will consider two draft laws on the amendment of the law on the attraction of a foreign state loan on behalf of the IMF.  

The MPs are also to set up a special commission for considering the efficiency of the enforcement of the regulations in the sector of oil products and the special commission for considering the decision-making process as to the control of inflation and monetary policy in the last 18 months.

The agenda also contains a draft decision on the dismissal of Alexandr Esaulenco from the office of director of the Intelligence and Security Service.    

Another draft decision suggested for the agenda envisages the change of the Parliament Decision on the creation of the inquiry commission on the way of exploitation of useful mineral substances and establishing the impact on the environment.
