Moldovan weightlifter climbed podium at European Championship in Tirana

Chisinau, 6 June /MOLDPRES/- Weightlifter Elena Cîlcic won the bronze medal at the European Championship in Tirana, the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS) announced yesterday.
She recorded the result 129 kg. Moldova's representative at the Tokyo Olympics ranked 4th overall, according to CNOS.
Another bronze medal was previously won by weightlifter Tudor Bratu, in the snatch event, at the European Championship in Albania. The Moldovan athlete ranked fifth overall in the 96 kg weight category.
