Moldovan State Fiscal Service collects 21.7 billion lei in first five months of 2022

Chisinau, 7 June /MOLDPRES/ - The collections to the National Public Budget, managed by the State Fiscal Service (SFS), amounted to 21.7 billion lei (about 1.1 billion euros) in the first five months of 2022, which is by 3 billion 604.6 million lei (+20 per cent) more against the same period of the year before.

According to SFS, over 9.8 billion lei was collected in the state budget in 2022, which is by about 2 billion 45.1 million lei more against the same period of the 2021 year or up by 26.4 per cent.

„Revenues worth 2.2 billion lei were collected in the local budgets, which is by 360.1 million lei more against the same period of the last year or up by 19.2 per cent. Also, in the concerned period, about 7.2 billion lei was collected in the state social insurances budget, which is by 919 million lei more against the same period of the year before or up by 14.6 per cent,’’ SFS said.

At the same time, 2.4 billion lei was accumulated in the mandatory health insurances accounts, which is by 280.5 million lei more against the same period of the 2021 year or up by 13.2 per cent.
