Quality of technical expertise in constructions to be improved in Moldova

17:35 | 08.06.2022 Category: Official

Chisinau, 8 June /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet today approved new amendments to the Regulation on the technical expertise in constructions. They are meant to eliminate the unfair competition in the process of expertizing and will allow more categories of users and owners to ask for qualified technical expertise, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The principal provisions of the project regulate the following aspects:

Management of the process of supervision and guiding the activities as to the technical expertizing of constructions by an empowered authority;

Cancelling the ban on the carrying out of technical expertizes of private houses, orchard houses with one story and of auxiliary constructions;

Reducing the degree of risk following interventions taking place in the current constructions in the rural environment;

Exclusion of ‘’private people and legal entities’’ as requesters of technical expertizes, as they fit the notions of owners and users of constructions, who have right to ask for the carrying out of expertizes;

Excluding the putting of the stamp of the economic agent, where the technical expert works, on the note/report of technical expertise;

Eliminating the agreement of the board of experts for the carrying out of repeated technical expertizes of constructions;

The results of the technical expertizes could be appealed by constructions’ owners, who present needed arguments and documents.

The draft decision will help improve the quality of the services provided in the concerned sector and remove obstacles in the process of constructions’ technical expertizing.
