Moldovan deputy premier meets Romanian official

Chisinau, June 9 / MOLDPRES /- During a working visit to Bucharest, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian met with Romanian Defense Minister Vasile Dîncu.
Regional security issues were on the agenda, citing efforts by both countries to restore peace in the Black Sea area.
The Moldovan official informed his interlocutor about the situation in the eastern districts of the Republic of Moldova and in the Security Zone, as well as about the progress of the negotiations between Chisinau and Tiraspol and the prospects for their revitalization.
The two officials reiterated that the settlement of the Transnistrian case can only be done through diplomatic channels.
