Sappers to be trained on how to provide medical help

Chisinau, June 15 /MOLDPRES /- Sappers will be trained on how to provide medical assistance. The courses take place at the National Army Center of Excellence.

According to the Ministry of Defense, in addition to the ability to search, defuse and destroy explosive objects found in the ground, an engineer must be ready to provide first aid to his comrade in case of need.

Recently, more than 1,000 full-time and contract servicemen have received human rights training. The courses were held in all the garrisons of the National Army. At the same time, military units conducted sociological surveys on respect for human rights, perceptions of discrimination, sexual harassment and violence based on gender, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, as well as group conversations and psychological counseling.
