Agenda of cultural events in Moldova for 17, 18, 19 June

Chisinau, 15 June /MOLDPRES/ - The first performance of a play titled, Let Call Things by Their Names, will take place at the Alexei Mateevici Theatre on 17, 18 and 19 June. The play is based on texts by Ukrainian playwrights Liudmila Timoșenko, Natalia Blok, Oksana Savcenko, Irina Gareț, Tetiana Kițenko și Andrii Bondarenko. The stage management belongs to Luminita Tacu.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Luminita Tacu said the play was an act of solidarity with the Ukrainian nation and artists from Ukraine. ‘’This play is our firm word against the war; it is the voice through which we convey the thoughts and grief with which we empathize and which we share. This solidarity act is part of the campaign, Romanian Artists for Ukrainian Artists, initiated by the Theatre Union of Romania,’’ Luminita Tacu said.
On 17 June at 18:00, the play, The Tree of Life, by Dumitru Matcovschi, stage management of Alexandru Cozub, will be presented at the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre. At the same time, the play, Waiting for Godot, by Samuel Beckett, stage management of Slava Sambris, will be staged at the Luceafarul Theatre at 18:30. The play, Women without Limits, by Iurii Poleakov, stage management of Dumitru Koev, will be presented at the A.P. Chekhov Russian State Dramatic Theatre.
