Chisinau city hall urges citizens to rationally use water resources on dog days period

Chisinau, 15 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall calls on the city’s residents to rationally use the water resources, given the lack of precipitation and the high air temperatures from the last period, which led to the increase in the consumption.   

Thus, the Apa-Canal Chisinau stock company makes a call to water users to utilize the water only for household consumption and not for irrigating agricultural crops, the turf, filling pools and diverse recipients, used on other purposes but the ones envisaged in the contract, as for technical reasons, it cannot provide a larger flow than the designed one, which diminishes the efforts of the operator to ensure the water’s supply as normal.   

According to Apa-Canal Chisinau, the institution’s employees are permanently on duty, in order to provide the supply of drinking water 24 hours; they regularly inspect the installations and networks managed, in order to prevent damages; yet, the rational attitude of the citizens in the use of water matters too.
