Moldovan MPs to hold plenary meeting on 16 June

Chisinau, 15 June /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s parliament will hold a plenary on 16 June. The standing bureau today approved the agenda of the plenary meetings for 16-23 June.     

On this period, the lawmakers will discuss, in the final reading, more drafts, among which the ratification of the agreement on grant with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development within the Moldova Agriculture Competitiveness Project, the agreement on financing with the International Development Association (IDA) for the carrying out of the project, Security of Water and Sanitation Supply in Moldova, as well as the approval of the agreement on grant with the  Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) for the carrying out of technical assistance, Preparatory activities related to project on social dwellings. Also in the second reading, the parliament will consider a draft on amendment of the law on the attraction of the state foreign loan on behalf of the International Monetary Fund, as well as the ratification of the agreement with the European Union on operative activities carried out by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency in Moldova.    

The agenda of the next plenary meetings include also the presentations of the reports on the fulfillment of the state budget, state social insurances budget and the mandatory health insurances accounts for 2021. Also, decision-makers will unveil in the parliament’s plenum the report for 2021 on the financing of the political parties and electoral campaigns. The agenda contains also two legislative initiatives on the amendment of the Criminal Code, as well as several drafts on amendment of more normative acts.

A simple motion on the policies of the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry will be discussed at the 16 June meeting as of 10:00.
