New tourist destination inaugurated in Trebujeni, Orhei

Chisinau, June 16 / MOLDPRES /- A new tourist destination was inaugurated yesterday in the village of Trebujeni, Orhei district. Pension Casa Rândunicii is located in an area with landscapes, between the rocky shores of the town and has become a point of attraction of the cultural-natural reservation Orheiul Vechi.

The guest house was built by Buzilă family near the parents' house and was designed according to local architectural traditions, with authentic finishes, but modern infrastructure and a four-room accommodation capacity. The location has a summer terrace and a children’s playground, an enclosed terrace for organizing events and a traditional wine cellar.

"Orheiul Vechi has become a country brand and we must face the interest that is and will surely grow, exploring the authenticity of traditions and capitalizing on the potential of this corner of Heaven," said Culture Minister Sergiu Prodan at the opening event.

Pension Casa Rândunicii is one of the 20 beneficiaries of the grant program implemented by the Activity to Support Competitiveness in Light Industry and Tourism, funded by the US Agency for International Development. The aim of the program is to support the tourism sector in the development of infrastructure and tourism products to overcome the difficulties generated by the impact of the pandemic on the tourism sector.
