Customs Service, Prosecutor' Office for Special Causes of Moldova make searches in file on contraband with meat products

Chisinau, 16 June /MOLDPRES/ - Representatives of the Customs Service, along with prosecutors carry out searches in a file on contraband with meat products.
According to the Customs Service, the raids are made in Chisinau by representatives of the anti-fraud and compliance department of the institution, under the leadership of the Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Causes (PCCOCS).
The criminal prosecution actions are carried out based on suspicions as to the organization of a scheme of passage of meat products across the customs border, without making the proper control.
Details on this case will be unveiled, following the carrying out of the searches.
