Moldovan, Polish officials broach cooperation

Chisinau, June 17 / MOLDPRES /- Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration spoke at the Foreign Ministry with Tomasz Michał Kobzdej, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland accredited to Chisinau, the MAEIE press service has reported.

"The Republic of Moldova and Poland are close countries, and the consolidation of dialogue, in all areas of cooperation, is the constant concern of the diplomats of our countries," Popescu said.

The Moldovan official thanked the Polish authorities for their support in the process of European modernization and transformation of our country, as well as for the valuable humanitarian assistance provided to us in the context of the flow of refugees caused by the Russian Federation war against Ukraine.

Popescu also wished success to the Polish diplomat in fulfilling his mandate and assured him of the full support of the Chisinau authorities.
