European Commission recommends that European Council offer Moldova prospect of becoming EU member

Chisinau, 17 June /MOLDPRES/- The European Commission recommends that the European Council offer the Republic of Moldova the prospect of becoming a member of the European Union.
According to the EU Delegation to Chisinau, the European Commission has recommended that the Republic of Moldova be granted candidate status, provided that certain reforms are continued.
