Protesting farmers have taken their agricultural machinery to the streets of Rezina, Causeni, Ungheni and Falesti districts and are demanding that the government reimburse the full amount of all diesel purchased by farmers in 2022, as well as partially offset the costs of diesel, fertilizers and pesticides in the context of price increases. from the last six months.
"The event has an economic character and any attempt to join the political forces in this protest will be stopped immediately. At the same time, the Moldovan government announced last night that it will compensate up to 100% of the value of the excise duty on diesel for small and medium enterprises.
