Moldovan government approved funding for 36 projects under country's reintegration program

Chisinau, June 22 / MOLDPRES /- Today, the government approved the country's reintegration program for this year, which provides for the financing of 36 development projects in the perimeter of the Security Zone, with a total budget of 15 million lei. The list of projects to be funded has been approved in accordance with the eligibility criteria established by the Selection Committee, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

This year, according to the priorities declared at the launch of the project competition, 22 projects for the development and modernization of institutions in the education system, 11 projects for the repair and endowment of administrative buildings, cultural institutions, sports and medical-sanitary, 2 projects for the arrangement of recreational areas and other public spaces, as well as a project for providing financial support to ensure the activity of the Moldovan Delegation to the Joint Control Commission have been selected and will be implemented.

The central and local public administration authorities, beneficiaries of the Program have the obligation to turn to good account the financial resources according to the destination, until the end of the fourth quarter of 2022, and will present to the State Chancellery (Reintegration Policy Office) the report on the use of allowances.

In 2011-2021, 11 government programs for the reintegration of the country were implemented, with the realization of 476 projects worth over 141 million lei, aiming at solving the pressing problems in the Security Zone, sustainable community development, carrying out the country's reintegration goal.
