„I discussed this nice action on the dimension of the economic and cultural diplomacy with my Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid back in last February; it is presently materialized through the organization of this event, including a symbolical day for the Moldovan-Israeli bilateral dialogue, when our countries mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations,’’ Deputy PM Nicu Popescu said.

The Moldovan diplomacy head referred to the relations between the two countries, characterized by a common history and cultural heritage, noting the authorities’ interest in turning to good account the tourist potential.
