Moldovan president conveyed congratulatory message to civil servants

Chisinau, June 23 / MOLDPRES /- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu conveyed a message on professional Day of civil servant, which is marked today in the country, the presidential press service has reported.

The head of state mentions that these are the people who, by virtue of the profession they have chosen and the position they hold, have committed themselves to work in the service of the citizens.

"I congratulate all civil servants in our country, who fulfill their duties with passion and responsibility. I thank them for the days they work overtime, for the empathy they show in interacting with people and for contributing to the development of the Republic of Moldova through honest work ", said Maia Sandu in her message. At the same time, the head of state said she continues to rely on officials in the process of reforming and modernizing the Republic of Moldova.

"We have to build together a strong state, with functional institutions, to work for the people. Together we must earn the respect and trust of the citizens in the state institutions. Together we must build a worthy public service, able to deal with the current and future problems of the country ", Maia Sandu said.
