New season tickets for public transport trip in Chisinau to be marketed as of today

Chisinau, June 25. / MOLDPRES /- The new season tickets for the trolleybus and bus trip will be marketed starting today in several locations in the capital.

According to the Chisinau City Hall, the season ticket is valid for both trolleybus and bus, including in the suburbs. Thus, the price of a subscription will be 234 lei - for one month, 594 lei - for three months and 972 lei - for six months. The location of the season ticket sales points can be accessed both on the website of Regia Transport Electric Chișinău, and on the website of the Urban Bus Park.

At the same time, according to the municipality, the categories of people who benefit from free travel by public transport in the capital are: children up to seven years old, students of grades I-IV, pensioners for the age limit, people with disabilities, civil servants with special status from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (police officers, officers of the State Protection and Guard Service, employees of the General Inspectorate of Border Police), carabinieri on duty, members of the People's Guard registered in Chisinau.

Likewise, they will travel for free with municipal transport: citizens decorated with the state distinction "Order of the Republic", Heroes of the Soviet Union, people decorated with three-degree "Glory", war veterans and people with varying degrees of disability, honorary citizens of Chisinau municipality, the employees of the State Ecological Inspectorate, the collaborators of the State Special Couriers Service, the local elected officials, the persons subject to political repression and the officers of the Intelligence and Security Service.

Students and pupils will benefit from facilities for purchasing subscriptions by presenting the student / student card. The subscriptions for them will be printed and issued starting with August, being valid from the beginning of the academic year 2022-2023. Students in grades I-IV will be issued annual subscriptions to the educational institutions where they study.

Also, the medical staff will benefit from subscriptions to the General Directorate of Medical and Social Assistance, the education staff - to the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sports, and the heads of families with many children and single-parent families - to the General Directorate for Protection. children's rights.

Starting with July 1, the price of a trolleybus or bus ticket in Chisinau and in the suburbs will be 6 lei. The price for a maxi-taxi trip to the capital will be the same as 6 lei. The price will be valid within the city of Chisinau, and for traveling outside it will be paid 0.4 lei for each km traveled, but not more than 12 lei on the entire territory of Chisinau.
