Exhibitions with practical university works to be presented at Moldovan parliament

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - A string of exhibitions with the most original practical university works will be presented at the parliament’s headquarters during July. The Moldovan Technical University (UTM) today opened the cycle of exhibitions with the graduation theses of the last year graduates.   

According to the parliament’s press service, the graduation theses of graduates from the Design Faculty on these days will be hosted by the parliament and subsequently prototypes from all UTM faculties will be presented. The UTM design faculty trains creative and artistic engineers for the following specialties: Design and Poly-graphic Technologies, Technology and Design and Textile Clothes, Vestimentary Design and Industrial Design.   

The exhibition of UTM university works presents such prototypes as book editions, 3D concepts, innovative packing, clothes made through various techniques and collections of clothes, including with the use of recyclable and ecological materials, collections of national costumes, footwear and bags made by students, toys and chairs, etc.  

The exhibition was visited by more MPs and parliament civil servants, who appreciated the exhibits and discussed with students authors of ingenious ideas. ‘’One of the ideas of young people will be considered by the parliamentary institution, in order to be implemented. We have gifted young people, whom we should promote and see how the parliament can help them,’’ Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu said.      

The organization of the cycle of exhibitions has the goal of encouraging and promotion by the parliament of the academic performance.
